To meet the college’s needs of establishing international programs for our “High-Level Vocational College” project, on November 18th, School of Agriculture and Engineering linked up the representing College of International Education and jointly conducted a workshop on the establishment of “Silk Road Tea Institute” and the study of tea. Enhai CHEN, Secretary of the General Party Branch and Dean of School of Agriculture and Engineering. Hongmei ZHAO, Dean of College of International Education, Nengping GU, Director of Tea Teaching and Research Center of School of Agriculture and Engineering, and Teacher Huiyuan YANG also attended the workshop.

On the workshop, attending leaders of both China and Thailand respectively introduced the establishment progress of their college and teaching achievements, as well as discussing in depth the study of tea, the integration of production and education, students’ career and social services etc. Both parties hoped to realize through the establishment of “Silk Road Tea Institute” in-depth communication, integration and development in exchange visits of senior levels, academic exchange of teachers, research and learning of students and formulation of curriculum standards.
